Henry Gabathuler has a practice which focuses on all aspects of patent prosecution, litigation and counseling, specializing in the electrical and computer technology areas, as well as in the fields of biotechnology, medical and mechanical devices. Additionally Mr. Gabathuler has experience handling a wide variety of trademark and copyright litigation matters.
Henry has counseled a diverse client base including individual inventors and Fortune 100 technology companies alike. As a registered patent attorney, engineer, experienced litigator and successful entrepreneur, Henry provides a unique perspective when counseling clients on all issues ranging from idea to trial. His experience also includes prosecuting patent applications, intellectual property development and licensing strategies, and successfully handling patent, trademark and antitrust litigation matters from the discovery phase through trial.
Henry received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Lafayette College. During law school, Henry interned with the Honorable William H. Walls of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and drafted court opinions relating to patent infringement under the court’s supervision.
Prior to joining Leason Ellis, Henry was an associate at Morgan & Finnegan, LLP and of counsel at Meredith & Keyhani, PLLC. He was also a co-founder of a San Francisco based start-up company.
