Lauren focuses her practice on all areas of intellectual property litigation, prosecution and counseling. She has litigated on behalf of both the plaintiff and defendant in patent, trademark, trade secret, and contract disputes before federal trial and appellate courts nationwide and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Her patent litigation experience extends to a wide range of technology areas, such as medical devices, oil drilling technology, AV equipment, computer software, and cell phone technology. Outside of litigation, she counsels her clients on trademark disputes, trademark filings, infringement and invalidity opinions, and Paragraph IV certifications so that informed business decisions can be made.
Lauren graduated from Duke University with a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering.
Lauren received her J.D. from New York University, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Lauren was an editor of the New York University Environmental Law Journal. Prior to joining Leason Ellis, Lauren was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis in New York.
From 2015-2017, Super Lawyers Magazine recognized Lauren as a “Rising Star” in Intellectual Property Litigation. In 2017, Lauren was selected by the Business Council of Westchester as one of its 40-Under-40 Rising Stars.
